Welcome
Pedal With Purpose is presented by Arizona Water For People in association with the Perimeter
Bicycling Association of America to help bring safe drinking water and sanitation
to people in developing countries and to promote personal health and wellness through
cycling.
In 2007, Perimeter Bicycling adopted Water For People
as one of the beneficiaries of the largest perimeter cycling event in America -
The University of Arizona Medical Center El Tour de Tucson.
El Tour participants who ride for Water For People raise a minimum of $100 in charitable
donations from individual sponsors, in addition to the $110 registration fee. Included
in each registration fee is a $10 contribution to Tu Nidito Children and Family
Services.
Individuals or groups who can’t make it to Tucson for the event can still participate
through a new and exciting option called “Indoor El Tour”. Be sure to visit our
Indoor El Tour pages to see if this option is right for you.
We hope you will join the Water For People El Tour riders in pursuit of personal
health and wellness and to promote the Water For People vision of a world where
all people have access to safe drinking water and sanitation; a world where no one
suffers or dies from a water or sanitation related disease. Sign up today!
